Atsena Otie Key Drop-off

$16.00 Per-person

We offer a drop-off service to Atsena Otie Key.

The island is part of the Cedar Key National Wildlife Refuge. Atsena Otie is the original site for the town of Cedar Key. It has a swimming area, beach, trail, old cemetery, and a some ruins of the Faber Mill.

Bring what you need for the day and fish or enjoy the beach and trails. We suggest bringing bug spray especially if you are walking the trail. There are no amenities on the island and no dock access you have to be able to climb in and out of the boat.

Please call us at 352-231-4435 if you have any questions.

Times:

Drop-offs are typically from 10:00-10:45, 1:00-1:15, and some days we can drop at 3:30. Pick-up is usually 1:00, 3:30, and sunset.

$35.00 Per-person

Due to Hurricane Hermine the open house events that were scheduled are canceled. The next date for the Lighthouse has not been established. We will post as soon as we know.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be on site to provide guidance and some information and the University of Florida will set up exhibits and examples of their current marine specimens and unique ecology of Seahorse Key on most dates. Open house times are from 9:00am to 3:00pm. On these special dates, our boats are constantly picking up and dropping off on the island. Come by the dock on the tour day for reservations.

There are no amenities on the island other than a restroom. We recommend you to bring something to drink and some bug spray in case the bugs are bad. It is and extended ride as well with limited emergency support so if you have medical concerns you may consider that as well.

Please call Cedar Key Island Tours at (352) 231-4435 for details and Open House dates.
